Job Description:
Sales Support
- Help customers make curated gift or wardrobing choices for little ones.
- Engage with customers to understand their needs, buying trends and gaps.
- Run sell through reports, margin analysis
- Create customer style, gift and buying guides.
Buying
- Open to travel to local and national gift and fashion trade shows.
- Confirm orders with vendors, follow up and advise Executive Buyer of any potential problems with orders.
- Import all orders in the Point of Sale (POS) system ensuring all information is accurate.
- Responsible for acquiring all vendor lifestyle pictures and flats.
- Responsible for all re-orders and special orders per approval of the Executive Buyer.
- Maintain catalogues, look books and line sheets.
Inventory Management
- Assist with tagging, steaming and merchandising inventory.
- Follow up with vendors regarding issues pertaining but not limited to invoicing, delivery & quality of items.
- Perform quality assurance inspection of incoming merchandise.
- Process all damaged items, credits, RTA’s, and lead shipping.
Ecommerce
- Upload products to the web via our POS system.
- Ensure that default size, related styles, filters apply to item
- Ensure that all info is correct and updated on the web.
- Process web orders and prepare for shipping.
Skills & Qualifications Required:
- Must have strong knowledge in Excel, Numbers or Google Sheets
- Must be able to work independently
- Strong interpersonal skills-the ability to connect with customers
- Strong data entry required
- Must be detailed oriented with strong organizational skills
- Must be able to multi-task
- Experience with Mac/ Apple environment
