POSITION: Criminology Assistant
DEPARTMENT: Sociology and Criminology
REPORTS TO: Chair, Sociology and Criminology
HOURS NEEDED PER WEEK: 10 – 15
HOURLY RATE): $15.00 OR INTERNSHIP STIPEND
DATES (APPROXIMATE): April 10 – May 12, 2024

QUALIFICATIONS
- Currently enrolled Dominican graduate student
- Eligible for Non-Employment Based Opportunity or for Employment
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Assist with inputting information and organizing Canvas pages and modules for department page and courses
- Assist with grading for certain assignments in Criminology undergraduate course
- Assist with setting up Canvas for senior exit exam and communicating with students about the exam
- Assist with reviewing senior exit exam data
- Post events to Canvas and sharing with groups on campus
- Prepare documents for classes
- Other duties as requested, delegated or assigned
- Fulfill all trainings and activities required of Dominican Student employees, including DCFS and One Process trainings and reporting activities

- Able to manage own schedule and maintain accurate timecard by logging into system as required
- Competency in Spanish helpful
