On Tuesday October 4th, Dominican University and the Brennan School of Business co-sponsored an event with the Chicago Finance Exchange (CFE). CFE members, Dominican staff and faculty, and students heard from President of CFE, Kim Rice, President Glena Temple, Dean and Vice Provost Roberto Curci, and Professor Anne Drougas. At this networking reception and conversation about confidence and acceptance in the workplace, students were able to learn more about the ways in which role models and mentors play a critical role in making a more diverse, welcoming workplace. After the formal program, students enrolled in our career development courses at Dominican were able to practice networking with their peers, faculty, CFE members, and our career development staff.
