The Student Nutrition and Dietetic Association aims to provide a number of opportunities to Dominican Nutrition students. Members of SNDA are encouraged to use the knowledge they have learned in the classroom to provide others with the information they need to make smart health decisions. Members have provided nutrition education to a variety of populations, which helps them to improve their skills, while bettering the health of the community around them.
With student-run programs like DU Feeds (on-campus food pantry to combat food insecurity) and Epic Eats (a food service opportunity to help cook 150 meals for a local Non-Profit like Beyond Hunger), every student will find a way to make a difference during their time as an SNDA Member.
Members also attend professional development sessions and guest speaker events throughout the year. SNDA is a great association for students in the nutrition and dietetic program, or those who are generally interested in nutrition, food, and health!
